So, it turns out I’ve been hording PTO. Go figure. I just found out that I still have 13 days left-apparently I am dumb and included weekends and Christmas Day while trying to figure out my PTO this summer. So, with my week off at Christmas, I still have 7 days.
So, now I’m taking off the entire week of Thanksgiving-but that’s only really 3 days.
And the day after my birthday.
And the Day before we leave for MS-or maybe that’s 2, not sure.
And yet I still have 2 days left. Poor baby, I know. The trouble is, I have a site in the middle of Dec. to San Diego. If I take that Fri off there, then I’m almost out that entire week too. I certainly don’t want to end up in worse shape just for taking time off.
So, lesson learned. And for now I suppose I’ll be taking Fridays off

This weekend was rockstar. Despite the cold, the wind, and the…ahem…’bears’. HA! There was also a very inventive, interesting interpretive dance that I feel certain will end up on You.Tub.e though I have NOooooo idea who the star is on it. I will say she’s quite stunning though
Now I’m back at work. Enough said. This job is depressing me and that sucks. Moreover though, I realize now that I started wedding planning too soon and now I’m trying to make decisions I wouldn’t have had to make had I just waited until November. Mainly, it’s me jumping the gun. In most cases though, it’s more about the fact that we can lock in at lower rates before the fiscal increases….BUT decisions have to be made now. What ever happened to enjoying the engagement????? Not here, not yet, and it’s frustrating.
I’m sure I’ll have pictures up soon, but until then check out L’s site http://whatimthinkingabout1.blogspot.com/

The car is back, the beer cooler is full and the sleeping bags are at the ready!
This weekend we head back to Shenanndoah for a camping trip with two other couples and I am so excited! It took a while for me to actually GET excited, mostly b/c I haven’t had time to think about it. I feel certain that I have more than enough sh*t-what can I say I’m prepared for anything :) The boy keeps reminding me we are not going on the Appalachian Trail-however MY point is that we are in fact staying on a portion of it (albiet a camp site w/ running water) so a girl must be prepared.
J and B can’t go with us-J’s verision of camping is a S.uper 8 :) Plus, she leaves for her annual conference Sun. morning-GOOD LUCK GIRLY!! I know you’ll do great!
I’m just excited to hang out with everyone. Plus, I’ve been wanting to take the boy back to my home turf to see the changing of the leaves. I’m super excited to get some rock star photos and just to be back there. Oh yea, and there’s my interpretive dance for which I purchased a head dress last night. Yes, I’m serious
Unfortunatly the boy and I have to be at work today-the other 4 are already heading down there. We also have our first tasting tonight-exciting!

As some of you know, my very favoritest and most perfect show shoes began to fall apart on me onsite in CA. I went to the store only to find them discontinued….Ack!
So I just went online, and they have them, but only to a 9.5 . Damn them! So now I’ve sent an e-mail to the company asking for any and every shoe they have in the Wellfound, size 12. Hey–it’s the only shoe that doesn’t make my foot bleed or turn it into a nubin; a girl’s gotta fight for it
